Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. Follow the steps below to permanently delete your Settlr account and all associated data.

⚠️ This action is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data — including groups, expenses, and balances — will be deleted.

Option 1: Delete from within the app

Open the Settlr app and sign in.
Tap the Menu tab (bottom-right).
Go to Settings.
Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted immediately.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you are unable to access the app, email us at support@settlr.tech with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account.

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion by email.

What data is deleted?

Your profile (name, email, photo)
All groups you created
All expenses you added
All settlement records associated with your account
Your authentication credentials

What data is retained?

Expenses and settlements you added within shared groups may remain visible to other group members in anonymised form, to preserve the integrity of those groups' financial records.
